The spectacular view is more than 90 miles wide and 50 miles deep encompassing the city of Thunder Bay, the Norwester mountains, a portion of Lake Superior and the surrounding territory.
The site is virtually invisible to the outside world ensuring privacy but, with easy access to the city.
Unlike conventional houses our goal was to create a healing environment that does not simply occupy but, totally engages with the wilderness. The natural rhythms of the seasons,the wildlife, the sound of the wind in the trees, the migrations of birds and the changing coats and behaviours of animals.

A three year search for a site and then a specific design to address environmental illness resulted in what you see in these posts. The unprecedented benefits were meant to be shared with friends and others via hosting personal gatherings, meetings, weddings, intimate concerts and other events.
